Dainty Bugs

Here is a snippet of a Bugs pattern I designed recently. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by  these beautiful insects. Some of them are overloaded by colour and patterns on their tiny bodies.  I enjoy drawing my own little insects usually adorned with fabric applique, buttons and embroidery. Hope you like them..:)

Children Illustration: Hansel and Gretel

Here is my entry for Illustration Friday this week. The topic is 'Tension'. This is my version of Hansel and Gretel. "Hansel and Gretel" a well-known fairy tale of German origin was first published in 1812. Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister threatened by a witch living deep in the forest in a house made of cake and candy. I thought picture of these two kids, left alone in a jungle goes well with this week's topic.
